PL 2015 Long Course May Meet

Plymouth Leander is pleased to announce the 2015 Plymouth Long Course May Meet (Level 1) in the Plymouth Life Centre- (1SW150205)

Plymouth Leander's celebrated long course Level 1 meet will run from Friday 23rd through to Sunday 25th May 2014 in the fantastic10-lane 50m pool at Plymouth Life Centre. Plymouth’s nationally recognised pool where Mark Foster’s longstanding British 50 meter freestyle record was broken by Commonwealth Games Gold Medallist and Plymouth Leander’s Ben Proud.

We have purposefully moved this popular event into the key National Qualifying window in May 2015 to give swimmers the opportunity to achieve a place in the newly formatted British National Championships or Home Nation Championships.

Gain the advantage of racing with and against some of the nation's leading athletes in a meet which will inevitably give your swimmers the opportunity and the motivation to qualify for the new summer National events in 2015. We offer a full Olympic programme over three days rather than two, and will also offer 50m events across all four strokes. In addition, we recognise the need for our nation's best athletes to gain the experience of racing in finals and will ensure finals in all Youth and Senior 100m and 200m events.

We offer awards to the Top Male & Top Female Athlete in the 9/10 and 11 & Over Age Groups (excluding results in the 50m events and the finals).
